Ingredients
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cups fresh strawberries, chopped
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

- In a small saucepan, combine the chopped strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the strawberries break down and form a syrupy compote. Allow it to cool slightly.
- Spoon the strawberry compote over the chilled cheesecake mousse before serving.
