Ingredients:

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 4 oz semisweet chocolate, chopped
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies (plus extra for topping)

- 4 oz semisweet chocolate, chopped
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Melt the butter and chocolate together in a heatproof bowl over simmering water, stirring until smooth.
- Stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined. Add flour, salt, and baking powder, and mix until just incorporated.
- Gently fold in the crushed peppermint candies.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let the brownies cool completely in the pan. Once cooled, cut into small bite-sized squares.
- For the ganache, melt the chocolate and heavy cream together in a heatproof bowl over simmering water, stirring until smooth.
- Drizzle the ganache over each brownie bite and sprinkle with additional crushed peppermint. Let the ganache set before serving.
